These guys
are going to make genetically modified males that will pollinate female
crops and destroy the genes. We have to get to work immediately to stockpile
and safeguard as many healthy seed as possible.
Imagine this. A
plane flies overhead a county known for producing cannabis. After they
figure out the wind, they drop 100 pounds of GMO pollen from the plane into
the wind current that falls onto outdoor crops. That whole crop has just
been pollinated. Its seed will be GMO, and every plant from those seed will
be GMO. The pollen can be programmed (like a computer) to kill the plants
with a disease like AIDS, or weaken it to non-existence. Even if it is an
indoor grow, air intake blowers will blow their pollen right into the bud
room.
They aren't going after the hemp Jack, they are trying to
destroy the female. She is the one with most THC.
I think the
proof is in the pudding. They already sterilize hemp seed for sale in the
U.S..
We need to develop strategies to produce more GOOD seed
and stockpile. We also need to develop secure indoor ventilation systems. If
all air went through water before entering a grow room, pollen couldn't
enter the grow areas. Lets keep our precious strains.
