Christian Cowlin grew up on a housing estate in Bridgwater Somerset, from the age of five he was fascinated with the sweet sounds of Reggae Music, so much so he use to get his parents to take him to all sorts of concerts. The first real inspiration was a band called Black roots who met Christian at a festival , from that day on Christian was determined to be a part of the music industry. Starting to learn the guitar at the age of 14 was the first steps to being able to compose and put musical ideas into reality, Christian started his first band at the age of 16 in Devon . UK . The band was called Orange Street and played original reggae and ska songs. After about 2 years on the circuit Christian got Delroy Roots OGilvie (Former Black Roots lead singer) to come in and sing with the band which took them to another level all together. Christian decided after 4 years to quit playing music and learn more about the production side of things so over the next year or so got stuck in to sound engineering. Without going to college to learn the skills Christian had to pick it up quick so got a job in a club called The Lanterns in Ashburton , Devon, as resident house engineer there were a lot of shows passing through every week and one of them happened to be THE WAILER . Well this was to be the most crucial meeting in Christians career as shortly after the show He was called to join The Wailers on their European tour with a massive line up onstage of original members. Christian worked with with the Wailers from may 2005 till September 2007 in various capacities , Organ Player , Production manager, Sound Engineer, Tour Manager not all at the same time though. Christian also produces a lot of music whilst on and off the road and plans to release a compilation of his works very soon.
